Your data
For bands
- Your concert dates are public. Like any concert announcement: dates, venues, times, ticket links and the other bands of the night appear on your page, your widget, your feeds and in search engines.
- They stay yours. Change or delete a date at any time: your page, your widget and your feeds follow, and so do your fans' calendars. Deleting your band deletes its pages.
- Your dates are always available in open formats, to take them elsewhere or feed other tools:
/<your-band>/concerts.ics: every concert, past ones included, in the standard calendar format;
/<your-band>/events.json: upcoming concerts in the schema.org format used by search engines.
- Pages not managed by the band say so, on the page and in its feeds. We listed their dates by hand from public announcements: the band's posts, the venue's or the ticketing page. The band can claim the page to manage it, or ask us to remove it: we do, no questions asked.
- Your account stays private. The email address you log in with, and which bands you belong to, are never published, sold or shared with partners.
For fans
- No account, no email. You follow a band by adding its calendar or feed; we don't know who you are.
- No tracking. No cookies on public pages, no analytics, no third-party scripts, fonts or images. The only cookie is the login of band members, in the space where they manage their dates.
For developers
/events.json: every upcoming concert of every band, soonest first, to build tools over the site (a bot, a town's agenda, a map). Each concert has its schema.org event, as in each band's events.json, with a permanent identifier that stays the same when its date or venue changes; then its band (name, page, whether the band manages it), when it was announced, and the other bands of the night. Rebuilt after every change, and every night.
/just-announced.xml: the latest announcements, as an RSS feed.
