Enter a date once: your page, your widget and your fans' calendars follow.
Your band already has a page here, saying it is maintained by On the Road? We listed your dates from your announcements. Use its Claim this page link: we create your account, and the page is yours.
1. Logging in
Go to the login page and enter your email address. There is no password.
You receive an email with a link. It works for 30 minutes, and only once.
Open it and press Log in. Asking for a new link any time is fine.
2. Adding a concert
Open Bands, then your band.
Press Add a concert at the top right, or under Concerts, fill in the empty block. Only upcoming concerts are listed there.
Press Save at the bottom. Your page is updated right away.
What each field means:
Date and time: when you play, or when doors open if that is what you announce.
Time not announced yet: tick it when only the day is known. Your page then shows the day without a time.
Event: a festival, or a night with a name, often organised by an association ("Concert 100% Girls"). Start typing its name and choose it. If it is not there, press +: for a festival, Find this festival on MusicBrainz fills in the form; otherwise, the name is enough. You add it once, and next year you choose the same one. Your page shows its name first, then the venue's, smaller.
Status: planned, sold out (the ticket button disappears) or cancelled.
Link and Entry: with tickets, the ticket page; for free entry or pay what you can, the event's page or your announcement, if there is one.
Other bands: the other bands of the night, on the concert's own page (the pencil next to it, or Add a concert). One per line: choose a band that is on this site, its name links to its page, or type any other band's name.
3. Finding the venue
Venues are shared between all bands: someone may already have added yours.
In the concert's Venue field, start typing the venue's name. If it appears, choose it: you are done.
If not, press the + next to the field. A small window opens.
In that window, press Find this venue on MusicBrainz and OpenStreetMap.
Search with a short name and the city: "Maroquinerie" and "Paris" rather than the full name.
Check the address of the result, then press Use this. The form is filled in for you.
Check it and press Save. The window closes and the venue is in your concert.
"already added" in the results: the venue exists already. Press it to choose it.
Not sure of the name, or nothing found? Search with the venue's address, postal code and city, from its website or the ticket page. A building that is not a venue on the map comes up as "address only": it fills in the address and the map position, and the name you typed.
Nothing found? Go back to the form and fill it in yourself: the name and the city are enough.
A mistake in a venue? Venues are shared, so you cannot change them. Tell us and we will fix it.
4. When plans change
Cancelled: set the status to cancelled rather than deleting the concert. It stays on your page, crossed out, so fans who saw it know.
New date: just change the date. Your page shows "Rescheduled · was" with the first date, and calendars move the concert.
A typo in the date? Correct the date and press Save: "Previous date" fills itself in. Then open More in the concert's block, empty Previous date and save again: it will not show as rescheduled.
Announced elsewhere before? New concerts are marked "New" for 14 days. In More, set Announced at to an earlier date to avoid it.
Delete a concert only if it was entered by mistake.
5. Sharing your dates
On your band's page in the admin, at the top right:
Share:
the link to your page, for your bio or Linktree;
the widget for your website, with a preview and the code to copy;
your calendar and RSS feeds.
Page style: theme, colours, font and corners of your page, with a preview.
Fans tap Add to my calendar on your page: your next concerts appear in their calendar and follow your changes. They need no account.
